Hamburg is a major transportation hub, connected to four Autobahnen (motorways) and the most important railway junction on the route to Scandinavia. Hamburg Airport is the oldest airport in Germany still in operation. There is also the smaller Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport, used only as a company airport for Airbus. There are over 120 routes operating to and from the airport including long-haul routes to Dubai, Newark, and Tehran allowing for many options on how to reach Hamburg by air.
